Building a TecDoc + TecCom integration for France's auto parts market. Live since 2023 without a single incident.
The challenge
An established distributor in the French auto parts market, running on a fully manual process. Orders went out by phone, fax, or email. Stock and price lookups took minutes, often with stale data by the time the quote reached the customer.
The target was clear: one B2B platform holding the full TecDoc catalog, querying stock and price in real time across 60+ suppliers, and routing orders electronically. Without breaking any of the existing warehouse relationships.
What we built
TecDoc catalog integration
Full integration with the TecDoc catalog: millions of articles linked to vehicles, OE cross-references, technical schemas. Search by make, model, year, engine, or directly by part code, with aftermarket equivalents returned automatically.
TecCom B2B commerce
TecCom as a single integration point to every supplier. The platform queries availability and pricing in real time, sends orders electronically, and receives confirmations and tracking without us touching each warehouse separately.
Multi-supplier price engine
Aggregation engine that pulls price feeds from each supplier, applies markup rules, currency conversion, and margin protection, then displays the final price in the catalog. Refreshes on cron, no manual intervention.
VIN and license plate search
Search by VIN or license plate, with full vehicle decoding and compatible parts filtering. Eliminates the identification mistakes that drive returns in auto parts e-commerce.
Custom admin for operations
Filament admin on Laravel for operations: TecCom order monitoring, pricing rules, stock alerts, sales reporting, and B2B user management with tiered pricing.
